  • When I was about 8 years old my mum worked in a alternative movie theater for kids. Showing mostly East german, Czech and scandinavian movies I saw a lot of interesting things  in that period.


    Two of those still bring back memories. I love(d) the short animations of the Mole by Zdenek Miler. And I must admit I still think he is very cute


    Another movie that I remember is the Pinchcliffe Grand Prix by Ivo Caprino. I still remember the asphalt of the race circuit curling becoz of the speed the scientist's racecar made. I think i saw it more then 11 times and if i ever have the chance to see it again i wouldn't miss it for all the money in the world....

  • I'm back in the Netherlands... we had a wonderfull time in Barcelona. Saw a lot of Gaudi just like we planned. At one time we even had our private tourguide.


    Also saw Calatrava's communication tower!


    I haven't yet made my mind up about wether I like Barcelona itself or not.... it is kind of a dirty city and well I don't really like the Spanish culture that much.... need to think it over


    Next trip? Probably Prague or maybe Dublin in autumn... still have over 3 weeks of vacationtime left...


    Took a lot of pics but can't upload them till at least monday due to some network troubles at home.

  • I'm going on vacation for a week of to Barcelona to make lots of pictures (from Gaudi's buildings and stuff)...for now I leave you with an impression of a statue in Funchal (madeira).
