Yesterday I went to a lecture about the usability of the new ticket vending machine from Dutch railways.  Pretty interesting (and hooray thanx to the Dutch railways I got there in time ). The meeting was held by SIGCHI NL of Which I am a member. SIGHCI NL is the dutch daughter from ACM SIGCI. Afterwards there was a special board meeting encouragin people to become active members and I have... I volunteered for the communication department... so my editorial background will be of any help . they need one board memebr for each group as well... so who knows...

Today I booked a trip to Madeira... I'm not sure yet if I will get it coz they have to give the people form the appartement complex a call first... but I keep my fingers crossed.

I'm looking forward to this trip... doing some hiking and stuff... maybe even have great warm weather... and when I return I'll have another 4 days off

hmmm a nice surprise today... when we got back from lunch there was this huge cake waiting for us...  from the companny i worked on the project with to  the people at my companny... jummy

slept from 21.00 hrs till 6 this morning... boy was I tired....

just a short one... project went reasonably well... I'm just deadtired now (got up at 5 am and din't get much sleep) drank more coffe in a day than normally in two weeks...

today (monday) may well be drama day at work... some big orject I've been working on is going llive but the company who is hosting stuff hasn't deployed the final version yet..... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.....

Apart from that thanx to (recent) turbulence in my private life I'm not half as organized as I was on my previous project... I'm definetely NOT inccontrol... today is gonna be hell

 tonight E. and I saw 'Looking for Richard'.  Al Pacino's film about the W.Shakespeare play  'Richard III'. REad somewhere that he has been working on the movie for 10 years (you see hi  with various haircuts and stuff so it is not a surprise that is was not taken in 1 month or so)...  clikc on the pick for the trailer, takes a while to load). note that it does not solely contain texts of Richard III but also of 'The Tempest'...

Well Id di connect with it and really enjoyed it. But then again I love shakespeare so this should not come as a surprise... and I'm a big Pacino fan too... some people think he's only good when he can shout  (and I agree he can actangry pretty well ) but here he does much more.... so go check it out in the local video store!
