  • Just celebrated my 31st birthday this Saturday... in London. We did a lot of interesting things ( Globe Theatre, Tate Modern, Science museum, Camden Lock, shopping , the Aztec exhibit at the Royal academy of arts.

Still pondering on my birthday gift...

saw this on tv...  a old Gaudi plan for a hotel in New York (some say  that it was intended for the spot the twin towers stood on) has been entered into the competition to find a replacement for those same towers......   (check out Google  and this Gaudi site as well)

  • today i bought some clay for practising my ceramics techniques.... well some might be an understatement you can only buy 10 kilo/5 pound 'breads'.

I really like to work with brown clay (it get black when baked). It's soft and flexible, wilma (my teacher) told me that most people don't like it though

Next semester i'm going to do the follow up ceramics course ... maybe i'll get some of my homemade stuff to go in the oven there....

I'll make some pictures of stuff i made and put them on line...
