  • OK So I'm back home... had a wonderful time... feeling tired and have  some hayfever trouble but also feel happy and content.


    I took more than 300 digital pics so I'll make a selection and ad some text where needed ... My films well get developped this week.


    More stories etc will be put online in the coming days.... For now: on the left the view from my appartement...

  • taking a siesta... think I deserved it... today I climbed a mountain... it looked quite spectacular but it was less hard than I expected... pictures will follow as soon as I get them on line.....


    My favorite car is still ppular around here... wish I could take one home with me...

  • boy oh boy just this short one as an update on my trip



    1. it's steaming hot here

    2. taking a bus in madeira is very exciting (especially going down)~

    3. lizzards are all around

    4. already took about 150 digital and 50 normal pics

    5. fauna is wonderful

    6. food is OK (fish and soups are good veggies are not: have had carrots every night and they are often overcooked

    7. internetcafes are relatively cheap but forgot my cable so no pics can be uploaded

    8. traveling alone is fun but eating and drinking alone are less entertaining

  • Only two more days and I'll be going on a short break ( a week to Madeira)... Two day of hard work... a lot needs to be done and I'm under the impression that I have way more work on my plate than the others.... this afternoon I have a (annual) talk about my future at my job: mostly about  what I want and what they want from me, courses to follow and stuff...
