On old loves....
through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered,
i have fought my way here to the castle beyond the goblin city
to take back the child that you have stolen,
for my will is as strong as yours,
and my kingdom is as great.
you have no power over me."

Boy did I love the movie Labyrinth... think I saw it at least ten times in the theater... oh and I do own it on tape.... hmmm haven't watched it in a long long time....
I was 14 and it also was my first meeting with Escher (poster in Sarah's room and the room in this picture that obviously has been inspired by it)
Did you know that the screenplay was by Terry Jones (Monty Python, Erik the Viking,...)?
Some quotes..

The Wiseman
"So, young woman, the way forward is sometimes the way back"
Bird on his head: "Will you listen to this crap!
"I think that's your lot. Please, leave a contribution in the little box."
"Well then, there go a couple of suckers" (Reacting to the snoring) "It's so stimulating being your hat!"
The worm
Sarah: "Did you say hello?"
Worm: "No, I said 'Ello, but that's close enough."
"Things are not always what they seem in this place, so you can't take anything for granted."
"If she'd kept on going down that way, she'd have gone straight to that castle."
