Escher and the Droste effect - Universiteit Leiden

 A number of Mathematicians managed to visualize the mathematical structure behind Escher's Print Gallery.

They also 'solved the white spot that was in Escher original (due to a mathematical problem he couldn't solve...

Some ofslides I took last week....
 my first slides ever and i must admit i like working with them a lot...
now scanning them correctly .... if anyone has hints?!
the bikes look Ok but the cityhall is far darker than the slide...

Well how am I Nanny asked.... Ok but (as ussual) a lot is going on though...

E. is getting ready to leave for the states tomorrow the movers wil come and pick up his stuff. He then only needs the visum to arrive so he can start working on his dream job in Boston , MA.

Me' I'm in love... and well in the beginning i felt a bit guilty  coz well.... you'll understand but now I'm not anymore... just enjoying every minute. K is sweet  (just look at that pic )

Nevertheless there is a 'dark side' to this ... nothing serious but it just occured to me that the life i'll lead when E. is gone  will be different from the one my mum knew me to lead... She never met K. ... and that kinda feels weird... Tomorrow it's  four years since she died... I've missed her the past year and thinking of her still makes me kinda sad... but i'm not as sad as last year...
